The Mine

İlyas, a coal miner, watches as workplace accidents in the pits begin claiming lives. He warns his colleagues, gathering signatures to demand essential safety measures, yet finds himself battling the deep-seated fear and fragmentation among the workers. The arrival of a traveling tent theater in the region adds a disruptive, almost surreal layer to the mounting tension, diverting attention and complicating the desperate struggle for survival underground. The film becomes a raw examination of dignity, collective action, and the crushing weight of systemic indifference.
