Belgrade's Radio Warriors

2007 · 60 min TV Movie Documentary

In 1989 a youth radio station, B-92, started up in Belgrade. It almost immediately became a symbol of the resistance to Serbian nationalism and all that Slobodan Milosevic decreed. Here, the young radio workers give a candid account of life in Belgrade throughout the years of war. They also describe their own contribution, despite all the authorities' efforts to suppress them, to the liberation of their city and their country.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Belgrade's Radio Warriors is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2007 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
