Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Sci-fi with intellectual backbone — present-day problems translated into different coordinates. Visually restrained, conceptually interesting.

Strong idea, sometimes weaker execution — but the idea doesn't let you forget the film. The ending raises more questions than it closes, which is right for the genre.

Works for fans of thoughtful science fiction. Expecting action and effects as the main event — not here.
