Los guerrilleros

José, a young peasant, joins the guerrilla movement in the mountains of Cuba during the 1959 revolution. His idealism collides with the brutal reality of war: hunger, betrayal, and the constant threat of death at the hands of government soldiers. Alongside a motley crew of rebels, he participates in daring raids, struggling to preserve his humanity in inhumane conditions. The film explores not just the fight for freedom, but the personal sacrifices ordinary people make when their homeland becomes a battlefield.
