Queer World

Mehmet, a clarinetist in an Ankara nightclub, plays for the crowd each evening before returning to his humble shack in the shantytown. His music is the fragile thread stitching his dreams of a better life to a harsh, unyielding reality. When a relative sells their home to a contractor, Mehmet's fragile world collapses. The fight is no longer just for shelter, but for the remnants of his family's dignity and his own artistic spirit. A confrontation with the faceless force of so-called progress tests the very core of his being and his art.
