Sergei, a young man with an unstable mind, finds himself confined to a psychiatric hospital following a string of eccentric public incidents. Outside, the late Soviet era rumbles on, but inside, a bizarre microcosm with its own rules prevails. He navigates the strained camaraderie with fellow patients, each carrying their own truth and trauma. Between therapy sessions, walks in the enclosed courtyard, and absurd dialogues with the staff, Sergei searches for the thin line separating madness from sanity, and freedom from captivity.
