🎬 MovieFinder's Take
This archival piece constructs a direct bridge to 1900, relying on the fragile miracle of synchronized picture and sound on wax. It explores the very dawn of audiovisual recording, where the crackle and imperfection are part of the charm.
What lingers after viewing is the haunting presence of these legendary performers, captured in fleeting moments of song, dance, and comedy, offering a whisper of a vanished world. — MovieFinder Editorial
