"Genius" accidentally invents "goo" which causes living things to rapidly grow to an enormous size. Seeing an opportunity to get rich, some delinquent teenagers steal the "goo" and, as a result of a sophomoric dare, consume it themselves and become thirty feet tall. They then take over control of the town by kidnapping the sheriff's daughter and dancing suggestively.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its outrageous narrative at the intersection of teen sci-fi and social satire, using gigantism as a blunt metaphor for youthful rebellion against the establishment. It relies heavily on camp aesthetics and deliberate theatricality, turning a scientific premise into a vehicle for eccentric spectacle.

What lingers after the credits roll is the peculiar charm of its low-budget effects, daring dance sequences for its time, and the unmistakable aura of a drive-in era relic. It's a time capsule of 1960s pop culture eccentricity. — MovieFinder Editorial
