Zone of Silence
A man in the 1920s commandeers a train and flees into the desert, only to violently crash into the present day. Elsewhere in Mexico's Zone of Silence, a treasure hunter discovers a conquistador's hoard guarded by a vengeful ghost. Two young women are hunted by a malevolent, sentient automobile, while a thief who steals a fortune makes his escape by hurtling backwards through time. These bizarre tales converge in an anomalous desert where the laws of physics fray and history bleeds into the now.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film weaves a bizarre tapestry of local legend and roadside myth, prioritizing a mood of profound disorientation over conventional narrative. Its power lies in the raw, tactile texture of its desert nightmare, where machinery and history gain a sinister agency.
What lingers after the screen fades is the sensation of having witnessed fractured folk tales, each a haunting, incomplete artifact. This is cinema that evokes rather than explains, leaving the chill of an ancient, untamed dread. — MovieFinder Editorial
