He Who Loves the World

2014 · 82 min Documentary

He loved those who suffered from Hansen’s disease as himself; served the country with love even after being sentenced to life imprisonment; and even adopted his enemy’s son as his own son. Son Yang-Won was a saint, the likes of which could not be found even in world history. However, the movie depicts a plain person who also suffered with humane agony and dealt with the hidden side of the person who overcame the pain.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

He Who Loves the World is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2014 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
