🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its comedy around a simple case of mistaken identity, relying on the charm of the young girl and the warm, makeshift family she finds. It explores the gentle humor that arises from the contrast between a veterinarian's expectations and the reality of his new boarder.

Those who tire of cynical plots will find a sweet, unassuming story where laughter comes from kindness and simple misunderstandings. What lingers after is a pleasant, nostalgic warmth. — MovieFinder Editorial
