The Bapst Brothers, Carriers

1988 · 26 min Documentary

The Bapst Brothers: Romain, Maurice and Jacques – whom we will also meet in The Gruyere Chronicle (produced in 1990) – are peasants and carriers and work with their father. In autumn and winter, they bid for the community’s wood, cut down the pine trees and bring down the logs through the snowy woods by horse-drawn sleigh.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The Bapst Brothers, Carriers is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A classic from 1988. They don't make them like this anymore — which is exactly why you should watch it. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
