🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative around the personal journey of Karl-Heinz Dellwo, relying on archival footage and present-day reflections. It explores not just the mechanics of political terror, but its enduring psychological footprint on those who once wielded it.

What lingers after viewing is a profound unease about the cost of ideological absolutism, where revolutionary dreams collide with irreversible human consequences. A sobering study of memory and guilt. — MovieFinder Editorial
