🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a classic contrast between the corrupting city and the redemptive rural idyll, relying on melodramatic turns to explore themes of moral downfall and atonement.
What lingers after viewing is the stark atmosphere of an Australian western, where a woman's fate hangs between two worlds and two men. — MovieFinder Editorial
Director: Charles Chauvel
