🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative on the clash between a son's punk-rock rebellion and his father's rigid conservatism, using comedic beats to explore a deeper family drama. It relies on the quintessentially Japanese concepts of obligation and social duty, transforming a personal conflict into a universal story about finding common ground.

What lingers after the laughter fades is a surprisingly tender ache of reconciliation, where humor becomes a bridge across generational gaps. — MovieFinder Editorial
