Tetsuhiko Okudera is a Kyurio, a human untouched by the virus that reshaped the world, now an outcast in a society dominated by the Nokusu — survivors who gained immunity and superior traits but a fatal sensitivity to sunlight. Born into a poor village, he burns with resentment and a desperate longing to become one of the nocturnal elite. His childhood friend, Yui Ikuta, dedicates herself to reviving their dying home, a mission that strains their bond as Tetsuhiko is pulled into the escalating tension between the two races.
