Forty-three individuals, aged nine to seventy-eight, ascend the wobbly ladder of a ten-meter diving platform at a public pool. Each faces this height for the very first time. Static cameras, fixed on the platform and below, capture the raw minutiae: white-knuckled grips, hesitant glances into the watery abyss, whispered internal negotiations. The crux arrives as toes curl over the edge. A primal fear of the void wrestles with the quiet humiliation of retreat, with the prospect of turning back to descend the ladder, exposed before the watching world.
