1947 · 95 min Comedy Music

Gino Fabretti is a famous Italian tenor. During a tour in Nice, he begins a relationship with the wife of a renowned doctor. The doctor traps and drugs him and replaces his vocal cords with those of Robert, a delivery boy in a grocery store. The unfaithful wife despises the tenor without his voice and becomes more interested in the grocer.

History of Singing is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A classic from 1947. They don't make them like this anymore — which is exactly why you should watch it. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
