🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its classic comedic premise on the contrast between modest reality and a fabricated high-society facade, using the 'English gentleman' disguise as a steady source of situational humor. It relies on archetypal characters and witty dialogue to explore themes of social pretense and genuine affection.

Those who tire of cynical humor will find a charming, lighthearted story where all misunderstandings lead to a satisfying and warm resolution. — MovieFinder Editorial
