O'Say Can You See 1

2011 · 15 min Documentary
5.0 / 10 · TMDB

As prologue to a trilogy of films about 9/11 America, this is the first channel of Laura Poitras’s double video installation. The film captures, in haunting slow-motion, the faces of stunned and saddened onlookers gazing at the unseen rubble of the World Trade Center shortly after the 9/11 attacks. The soundtrack is composed of the National Anthem recorded in October 2001 at the Yankees' World Series Game 4 in New York.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

O'Say Can You See 1 is an acquired taste at 5.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2011 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
