🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Robert Thalheim constructs the narrative with a near-documentary restraint, relying on silence, glances, and the unspoken tension between characters. He explores not the loud horrors of history, but their quiet, daily echo in the present, where memory becomes a heavy burden.
What lingers after the final frame is a profound sense of the ethical complexities surrounding memory and responsibility. The film offers no catharsis, only the weight of a past that refuses to be buried. — MovieFinder Editorial
