🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Director Michael Polish constructs a claustrophobic, tender universe within a shabby hotel room, using it as a metaphor for an inseparable bond. The film explores not a medical oddity, but the fragile ecosystem of two souls forced to operate as one, relying on an outside romantic connection to crack this system open from within.
What lingers after the credits is a profound sense of melancholy for a lost wholeness. It’s a quiet, deeply empathetic fable about love, dependency, and the painful cost of individuality. — MovieFinder Editorial
