🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film is a delightful tightrope walk between broad comedy and genuine human drama, where every slapstick moment reveals a layer of vulnerability in its protagonists. The direction treats these country boys with affection, framing their folly as a product of honest hearts navigating dishonest streets.
What lingers after the laughter fades is a surprisingly tender meditation on bruised masculinity and the resilience of friendship. It's a story told with vibrant, authentic Mexican spirit that charms and disarms in equal measure. — MovieFinder Editorial
