🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a comedic narrative from the contrast between bumbling civilian protagonists and the rigid military world, relying on classic silent-era visual gags and chase sequences. It explores themes of mistaken identity and accidental heroism with a lighthearted, fast-paced approach.

Those who tire of heavy plots will find refreshing joy in this unpretentious nautical romp. What lingers after the final reel is the charm of its simple, spirited execution. — MovieFinder Editorial
