Paradh
Yeshwant, the middle brother in a rural Indian family, idles his days away at the local paan shop while his elder brother Vithal tends the fields and the younger Anand studies. When a local politician, Ambadas, seeks to challenge the senior leader Appa, he finds the perfect pawn in the aimless Yeshwant. Dragged into a whirlpool of lies and betrayal, Yeshwant is forced to flee, jeopardizing his entire family. Their world, already fragile under the encroaching tide of industrialization, shatters, compelling each member to choose between survival and integrity.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
Paradh transcends the political thriller to become an intimate portrait of a small man crushed by a vast system. The director skillfully frames how abstract 'development' manifests as concrete tragedy for one family.
What lingers after the credits is the film's claustrophobic tension, where the true antagonist is the faceless machinery of corruption and so-called progress. It's a stark, necessary meditation on resilience and despair. — MovieFinder Editorial
