The film constructs a gritty crime story of betrayal and revenge, relying on the sun-bleached landscapes of the Southwest as a backdrop for personal downfall. It explores the fragile loyalties within the criminal world and how a single plan can violently unravel.
Those who tire of overly polished heists will find raw, character-driven tension here. What lingers after is the dust of the road and the cost of a debt called in. — MovieFinder Editorial
