Martha, a middle-aged woman, tends to a modest rose farm in the Austrian countryside. Her quiet life of pruning blooms and solitary evenings is upended by the arrival of Thomas, a charismatic drifter seeking temporary work. A passion ignites between them, as vivid and fleeting as a rose in full bloom. Yet Thomas's past catches up with him, threatening the fragile sanctuary Martha has so carefully cultivated.
