Once in a Lifetime

In the Paris suburb of Créteil, a challenging tenth-grade class, written off as hopeless, receives an unexpected challenge. Their history teacher, Anne Gueguen, decides to enter them in a national competition on the subject of children and teenagers in the Nazi concentration camp system. Teenagers from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, typically absorbed in their own conflicts and smartphones, begin a slow immersion into one of history's darkest chapters. Exploring the topic gradually ceases to be just a school assignment, touching personal nerves and forcing each to confront memory, responsibility, and their own place in the world.
