The film constructs a chilling narrative that relies on the oppressive atmosphere of Salem and explores the psychological decay of a man caught between duty and madness. It builds tension not through jumpscares, but through a pervasive sense of dread that seeps into every frame.
What lingers after the credits roll is a profound unease about the shadows just beyond the streetlamp's glow and the stories a town buries to survive. — MovieFinder Editorial
