🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative as an intimate exploration of a private world, contrasting the fragility of first love with the harshness of its historical setting. It relies on the powerful metaphor of an imaginary homeland to explore resilience and escape.

What lingers after viewing is a profound sense of bittersweet nostalgia for a paradise that was always destined to be lost. The film leaves one contemplating the spaces we build to survive when the real world offers none. — MovieFinder Editorial
