🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs its horror on the slow, almost clinical erosion of a man's identity, relying on the classic Jekyll-and-Hyde dynamic. It explores the limits of scientific rationality when confronted with a primal, bodily terror of transformation.
What lingers after the cheap thrills is a surprisingly melancholic metaphor for losing oneself, where the real monster emerges not from a cave, but from within. — MovieFinder Editorial
