🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The adaptation constructs its visual language from the musicality of Dylan Thomas's radio play, relying on the cadence of voice and the texture of mundane details to build its world. It explores the collective subconscious of a village through a camera that floats like a ghost through dreams and daily routines.
What lingers after viewing is the haunting, lyrical melancholy of lives half-lived and desires unspoken, a poignant celebration of the poetry hidden in the ordinary. — MovieFinder Editorial
