He meets Manami (Aya Ueto) again, who is now a reporter for a magazine which covers bathroom. With the help of the flat face Japanese tribe, Lucius again designs a new thermae. 🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The sequel constructs its humor on the familiar clash of civilizations, relying on time-slips as a vehicle for cultural observation. It explores the absurdity and brilliance of this exchange through Lucius's wide-eyed encounters with modern Japanese bathroom technology, building a comedy that is as much about design as it is about delight.

What lingers after the credits is the film's gentle, good-natured charm. It’s a feel-good escape that finds profound comedy in the most mundane of modern comforts, proving that some joys are truly timeless. — MovieFinder Editorial
