L'oro di Scampia
Enzo, a former champion, returns to the crime-ridden Scampia neighborhood, a place ruled by mafia law. Refusing to accept the status quo, he opens a judo school in a basement, transforming a derelict space into an island of discipline and hope. His mission is twofold: to steer local teens away from street gangs and to train his own son for Olympic gold. Every practice becomes a battle for souls, where throws on the tatami mat carry weight far beyond sport. As tensions with local crime lords escalate, both the school and the dream of gold hang in the balance.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film resists easy answers, focusing on the immense struggle of a single dojo against an entrenched system of violence. Its power lies in the gritty details: the sweat-stained basement walls, the focused faces of teenagers, the crisp sound of gi fabric.
What lingers after the credits is not a tale of spectacular triumph, but the quiet, grinding effort to uphold dignity where it has been nearly erased. It's a story of incremental progress, move by move, hold by hold. — MovieFinder Editorial
