2005 · 60 min Documentary
7.5 / 10 · TMDB

The Aluminum Group, composed of gay brothers Frank and John Navin, win over audiences worldwide with their Prada tuxedoes and their intellectual spin on 1970s smooth pop. Filmmaker Patrick McGuinn follows the duo on their 2003 tour of Italy. In between interviews with the brothers, McGuinn mixes black-and-white and color footage of the Chicago-based act, which makes inventive use of the iPod during live shows.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Pursuit of Happyness is a very strong film rated 7.5/10. Great direction and performances make this one well worth adding to your watchlist.

A high rating speaks for itself — this film found its audience and didn't let them down. Trust the collective taste.

A 2005 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: any evening when you want quality cinema with no compromises.
