🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a charming underdog story against the backdrop of Olympic revival, relying on the contrast between the shepherd's simplicity and Athenian high society. It explores ambition and authenticity with a light, comedic touch.

What lingers after the finish line is the warmth of its humor and the appeal of an unlikely hero racing for more than glory. — MovieFinder Editorial
