🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its narrative by relying on true events, exploring the dark underbelly of the glamorous 80s entertainment industry. It follows a chronological descent, detailing how an ordinary young man's morals are eroded by the pursuit of fast money and a lavish lifestyle.

What lingers after the viewing is a grim portrait of corruption and greed, where the spectacle of performance masks betrayal and cold ambition. The glamour proves to be a thin veneer over a destructive obsession. — MovieFinder Editorial
