🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a lighthearted farce, relying on the inherent absurdity of the premise and the charming clash between city schemers and canny locals. It explores themes of gullibility and the desire for spectacle with a gentle, satirical touch.
Those who tire of cynical humor will find a pleasant, undemanding comedy that captures a more innocent era of filmmaking. What lingers after is a sense of simple, good-natured fun. — MovieFinder Editorial
