Reunion
A retired funeral director arrives in Kamaishi, a town shattered by the 2011 tsunami. Amidst the overwhelming devastation, he joins volunteers at a makeshift morgue. Their solemn duty is to prepare the recovered bodies with dignity for return to grieving families, performing final acts of respect within the chaos. Each day is a profound test of humanity, where the silence of the morgue speaks louder than the receding waves, and the simple, heartbreaking process of identification becomes a painful, necessary ritual for those who have lost everything.
