Karaoke!
A man in the stagnant middle of his life finds a microphone in the basement of his new home. A tentative hum evolves into a compulsive need. His voice, initially soft and hesitant, begins to fill empty rooms, then his backyard, and eventually the deserted streets of his suburban neighborhood. Neighbors are first puzzled, then annoyed. But for him, it is no longer just singing—it is the only way to feel alive, to break through the monotony of gray days. Each note grows louder, each performance more desperate, until his quiet existence transforms into a solo concert for a city that isn't listening.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film walks a fine line between psychological drama and dark comedy, exploring isolation in a noisy world. The director skillfully uses sound, turning karaoke from background noise into the main character.
What lingers after the credits is a surprisingly poignant feeling from an ostensibly absurd premise. The silence in your own home may suddenly feel like the loudest sound of all. — MovieFinder Editorial

The muted tones of suburbia starkly contrasted with the neon glow of an imagined stage.
