Thalappavu

Raveendran, a misfit police constable in Kerala, patrols the dense jungles where he encounters Joseph, a Naxalite revolutionary hiding from the authorities. An unlikely friendship blossoms between the constable and the idealist, built on nighttime conversations by the fire and shared doubts about the system. Their fragile peace shatters when Raveendran's superiors order him to stage a fake encounter and eliminate Joseph. This command triggers a spiral of inner conflict where duty clashes with conscience, and the policeman's psyche begins to fracture under the weight of the impending act.
