🎬 MovieFinder's Take
The film constructs a tense drama around the metaphor of history seared onto skin, relying on a cold, nearly documentary visual aesthetic. It explores trauma as an inescapable inheritance and a society eager to commodify any form of pain.
What lingers after viewing is a profound sense of claustrophobia—the terrifying realization that some pasts are tattoos, not garments to be removed. A quiet, unsettling study of personal legacy in a morally bankrupt marketplace. — MovieFinder Editorial
