🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs a sharp satire of bourgeois intellectualism, where personal crisis collides with collective action. Director Bertrand Tavernier explores the gap between theoretical sympathy and practical solidarity with a light, ironic touch.

What lingers after the viewing is the clever contrast between the protagonist's search for inspiration and the tenants' very real struggle, leaving a bittersweet aftertaste. — MovieFinder Editorial
