A young French diplomat receives an unexpected posting to a remote consular outpost in Latin America. Accompanied by his wife, he embarks on what seems a routine assignment. Upon arrival, they are met not with bureaucratic tedium, but by an unsettling quiet and strangely empty corridors within the mission.
