Springtime

A musician, his career in Seoul having flatlined, accepts a post teaching music to a classroom of disaffected teenagers in a remote mining town. His world of refined scores collides with their landscape of dust and disinterest. What begins as a mere paycheck—attempting to force classical discipline upon unruly students—slowly fractures into something more profound. Through shared resistance and unexpected moments of connection, the reluctant teacher and his skeptical pupils begin to communicate in a language that transcends sheet music, each helping the other rediscover a melody they thought was lost.
