Lawrence of Arabia: The Battle for the Arab World

2003 · 112 min Documentary History

An exploration into the man behind the film-inspired myth, from both Western and Arab perspectives. Thomas Edward Lawrence, a 24-year-old British spy, was a figurehead in the Arab struggle for independence. In 1916, he united Arab tribes and led them in a war against the Turks who ruled over them for 400 years. The consequences of his successes and failures sowed the seeds of conflict that continue to plague the troubled region even today.

🎬 MovieFinder's Take

Lawrence of Arabia: The Battle for the Arab World is an acquired taste at 0.0/10. We recommend checking the trailer and synopsis before diving in.

Not every film is made for everyone. Read the synopsis, watch the trailer — you'll know right away if it's for you.

A 2003 film from an era before CGI overload, with real performances that still hit hard. Best for: genre fans and those open to something unconventional.
