The Dare

Eduardo, a journalist in 1960s Brazil, navigates a landscape choked by military dictatorship. He watches the repression unfold with passive eyes, until a consuming affair with an industrialist's wife deepens his personal crisis. She, bound to her home by her son, refuses to leave, anchoring them both in a stagnant pool of impossible desires. Against a backdrop of political terror, their clandestine meetings become a private theater of paralysis, where every whispered confession echoes the public surrender happening just outside their door.
