🎬 MovieFinder's Take

The film constructs its epic scale through concise yet expressive tableaux, relying on the visual power of crowds and architectural sets. It uses editing to contrast palace opulence with the fury of battle.

What lingers after viewing is an immersion into the origins of cinematic spectacle, where each scene is a monument to the nascent language of epic filmmaking. The silhouettes of warriors against handmade walls become a testament to early ambition. — MovieFinder Editorial
