The film constructs its comedic premise on the contrast between bohemian nonchalance and buried family secrets. It relies on sparkling French dialogue and witty plot twists that escalate the situation into delightful absurdity.

What lingers after the final frame is the charm of a caper where fraud inadvertently becomes a tool for mending broken bonds and settling old scores. — MovieFinder Editorial
