The film constructs a simple yet witty narrative, relying on the contrast between technological marvel and human nature. Through a comedic setup, it explores the idea of a machine capable of revealing hidden facets of personality, acting as a primitive truth detector.

Those who tire of grandiose spectacles will find charm in this playful vignette about the unintended consequences of invention. What lingers after the final frame is a gentle amusement and a timeless cautionary note. — MovieFinder Editorial
